Answers before you ask.
Common questions from general contractors and facility owners. Don't see yours? Reach out—we respond within one business day.
What areas in Dallas-Fort Worth do you serve?+
We serve the entire DFW metroplex including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Irving, Arlington, McKinney, Garland, Richardson, and surrounding communities. For larger projects we also work across North Texas.
Do you only work with general contractors?+
General contractors are our primary clients, but we also work directly with facility owners, IT directors, developers, and architects during design and construction phases.
Are your installations certified and warrantied?+
Yes. Every horizontal and backbone cable is tested with Fluke certification equipment, and fiber runs are documented with OTDR traces. Our installations carry a manufacturer-backed 25-year performance warranty.
Are you licensed and insured in Texas?+
Xion Technologies is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and carries $2M in general liability with a $5M umbrella policy. We provide COI documentation before mobilization on every project.
What standards do you build to?+
All installations conform to TIA-568, TIA-569, TIA-606, and TIA-942 where applicable. Our design support is led by RCDDs and our field teams are BICSI certified.
Can you handle multi-site rollouts?+
Yes. We've executed multi-site retail and multifamily rollouts across DFW with consistent crews, standardized scope, and centralized project management.
How quickly can you mobilize?+
For most commercial projects we can mobilize within 1-2 weeks of scope sign-off. Emergency restoration and fusion splicing work can typically begin within 24-48 hours.
Do you provide pre-construction design support?+
Yes. Our RCDDs collaborate with your architect and MEP team during design development, providing cable pathway design, equipment room layout, BIM coordination, and detailed scope documents.
What does the quote process look like?+
Submit a quote request and a Xion project manager will reach out within one business day to schedule a site walk or design review. We'll deliver a detailed scope and pricing within 5–7 business days for most projects.
Do you offer maintenance and service contracts?+
Yes. We offer move/add/change (MAC) contracts, post-construction support, and ongoing maintenance agreements for facility owners who want a single low-voltage partner.
Ready to build infrastructure that actually scales?
Tell us about your project. We'll deliver a detailed scope, transparent pricing, and a schedule your general contractor can actually plan around.
